I was reluctant to join my colleague's wedding entourage at the end of last month and could not justified the reason why I still ended up being in a remote village location of my colleague's home, down in thailand. One of the 2 things I did not regret was coming down here and being part of my colleague's wonderful wedding party cos it was fantastic. The food was great, the warmth of her folks and family members, and yes, the chance to meet this familiar photographer, KAI. I was plainly surprised to see him when I arrived. I literally mouth-dropped my words when I saw him, and just told him " I cannot believe I will see you here in a remote village wedding!". Obviously, KAI's reputation for his wedding photography has far outgrown the shores of Singapore by now, cos the last time I met this wonderful and charming photographer was in Malaysia 2 years ago.

When the wedding day came, KAI was at his usual self, getting the angles, chatting up with my colleague, the bride, and her bridesmaids (rest of the girls, and me!). I still see the familiar verbal encouragement and guidance (to get the picture he wants) he exhibited 2 years back. The wedding day passed and the next 2 days were spent photographing my friend and her caucasian husband up in the mountains. In his usual charming self and good mannerism, he finised up the shoot just before darkness fell, and we all headed back home. Always full of energy and ideas, it was always have been a joy to watch this wonderful guy worked. He did showed me some of the photos he done for this wedding, wow, his style does improved tremendously over the already very nice photos he took of my friend 2 years ago.

A wedding is a one in a life time event, and it is very special for the couple.

I was extremely glad for my photographer who managed to take pictures for me that captured the moment for me.

He managed to nail the moments for me, in those few shots he took, it meant a lot to me. It brought feelings whenever I went back to look at those pictures.
